Pic request: 275/60 on 15x8 with 4" bs

I see many guys running 275/60's on a 15x8 but usually with 4.5" bs.  I would like to see if I can get the tire closer to the quarter lip...or will it rub?  I drive mine a lot and I do like to take my turns hard from time to time.

For fronts I want 235/60 on a 15x7 and I'm not sure about the bs on that one.  Again I would like it as close to the fender kip as possible without rubbing.

If 15x8's only come with 4.5" bs then this is a moot point as I will likely order a set of new wheels.

For the "safe solution" put 15x7" on the front and 15x8" on the rear. The normal backspacing on these from multple manufacturers will almost always work! A 235x70x15 on the front is about right as you need clearance when in Full-Lock turning for them. You can also use a 245x60x15 on the front and they will usually work and have that "fat" look.

as mentioned in previous wheel threads ,  wanted deepest dish look as i could with the widest tire  , but had to be same size front an back  ,  turned out to be a 255 on a 8 inch wheel with 4 inch back space , IMO i would not want to go any closer  with the tire , a 275  with a 4 inch back space  , would be too close IMO  , use a wheel with a 4 & a half inch back space , & it will be perfect  :yesnod:

i took some pictures looking up at the rear quarter  lip , with  255 &  4 inch back space  , but cant find them , must of lost them too ,  the other month when computer crapped out  , will take some for referance with a 255 if needed  :2thumbs: :yesnod:

Alright, good points guys, thanks.  I'll stick with a 15x7 up front with 4 ish bs and 15x8 in the back with 4.5 bs.

I'm going to start a new thread so I can find some good wheels.
