NICE!!!

That's how I want my 68 to look like, flat black primer with no mods except wheels.

You got the wheel well trim in place.  :2thumbs:

Ah you gotta love it.  :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

Your typical Craigslist ad with the epic "Thumb" photo bomb to cover their secret identity. Or the towel over the plates is another method.

That sucks! Mine doesn't have the original blue and golds because of a DMV screw up too.

I'd like to hear that story.  What did the rocket scientists at the MVA do?
For starters when Maryland went to 7 figures 30 some years ago,I was the second in line on a cold January 2nd for
my new CHARGER tags.....MUSTANG was the first guy in line.
My Charger had been off the road for 10 years, but of course to keep your tags, you have to maintain insurance.
So I kept insurance on the car even though it wasn't going to be roadworthy anytime soon.
I got smart, dropped the insurance and put the tags on my everyday driver, my 87 Ramcharger.
I figured, I was staying true, after all it was a Charger, sort of!
So after a couple of years, I figured I would get Maryland Historical tags, cause money was getting tight.
Now here's the screwed up part, I turned in the tags and was told you have to wait 30 days for any version
of that tag, regular, truck, historic, to become available again.
I was a bit leery of this but was promised by a few folks at DMV that was how the system worked.
I checked the DMV website everyday for the next month, and it showed no availability on CHARGER.
Well after 31 days still nothing, so I paid a visit to DMV and was told it's not available, someone else has it!!
I asked "when was it issued?" "The day after I turned them in" was the reply.....BOY WAS I PISSED!!!
I wrote a letter to the higher ups and was told SORRY, someone misinformed you. So needless to say some
lucky stiff in Maryland has MY, probably tags on a 4 door Charger now. That's my tail of woe.
The only reminder is pictures and of course I kept the front tag, told them it was stolen. It now sits on my desk.
