That would be cool to have, but I'd hate to have to do the resto, at least the paying part of it :o

Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

If it wasn't for that car, the Daytona would not exist...    :Twocents:
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

I agree...I tried telling that to someone else, not here, but they said if it wasn't for the 66 Charger, the Daytona would never exist....

I just said, Yea..OK

Perfect candidate for a new 5.0 motor swap resto-mod. I've always liked those Ford's like so, Torino like style. I'd do it up black on black.
Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

All in all, heaps cheaper than restoring a mopar.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

I doubt that.  Torinos aren't as popular as Mustangs.  I doubt that there is much of an aftermarket for them.

WB General Lee

I would just put a motor in it and drive it to shows. Not worth the headache and costs to restore

A383Wing

I don't think the frame rails would support a motor

I almost bought one of those cars. It was a Comet though.

thats a cyclone spoiler

Not this one.  Must not be too many of these.  Picture search showed more Hot Wheels and models than actual cars.

Aero426

Probably not worth the cost of restoration compared to buying a decent one in good condition.   But someone will probably try doing it on the sweat equity dream just like a 15,000 wreck of a wing car.   Certainly no cheaper than restoring a Mopar.

A buddy called me back in the summer of '87 and asked about a "special" torino he had found in a junkyard in brainerd mn, a few hours from where we lived and it had 428 in it, he wanted the motor for his girlfriends Ranchero.  I told him it must be a talledaga or cobra! we both took the next day off work and drove up to check it out and there in the front of the yard off to the side was black talladega, an orig white car sold new at shakopee ford to a lady in edina, the only one that dealer sold I guess.  We spent 3 hrs pulling out of the mud onto a trailer with three flat tires!  My buddy did about 80 percent of a full resto and got tired of it and ran out of money, so sold it to a guy with a bodyshop who is a ford nut and it is now all done and beautiful!  So thats my talledaga story!   It was fun to get it running and drive it around after we pulled it out of there, it was still pretty clean but looked really Joe Dirtish!  got plenty of looks cruising the lake in that thing. :2thumbs:
