What does your name mean?

Some names - such as the ones like 'MoparDude1979' have obvious meanings, but some of them aren't quite so obvious.   What does your chosen forum name mean?

I'll start - I'm the most cynical person most people know, so I get tagged as a 'hater'.  I upped it to 'hatersaurusrex' because I don't know if just 'hater' sums me up well enough :)

tan top

my charger had a tan vinyl top from the factory , remember thinking thats a weird  :eek2: color combo with yellow & black interior ,  when i first got it some 24 years ago  !!
and had /have never seen or heard of one with the same color combo ,

now   with all the internet , & stuff about mopars & chargers etc  still not seen or heard of  any one mentioning another , so thought it would be a good screen name when i  joined the old site & this one   :scratchchin:  :popcrn:

dyslexic teddybear

Dyslexic, is kinda a warning.....I don't think, act, and write... quite like most people. As it has been said before...."I do not suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it." :D

teddybear.....not something I'm generally know by. It comes from my Tae Kwon Do instructor. I trained with my 4 kids for over 5 years. I'm over 6 feet and no lightweight. A bit competitive......I had a lotta fun messing with some of the young cocky 1 degree black belts. Certainly, I was not the best, but good enough to bruise some egos.

So, during free sparring, we would rotate training partners, and sometimes I would be paired with someone much smaller, and Master D would remark "don't worry, he's just a big teddybear"

I really enjoyed my time training with my kids. To be there when my two oldest earned their black belts would be something special. To participate in the test.....even better. Yeah, lucky me, I was the guy my 6"3" 15 y.o. son had to throw around to prove he was worthy of the belt.

JB400

I figured with over 132,000 members logged on, all the original names would be taken.  I just come up with this one because the 400 is mostly overlooked.

Actually meant to change it, but found out I couldn't once signed on.  I'm committed :2thumbs:

Mine is from my Mopar has nuts or loose Mopar nuts or crazy about Mopars.

Dino

Dino was the name of my dog.  My brother got her when I was 6 and she died almost 16 years later in '95.  I still have her collar hanging from my closet door knob.

Never met a dog quite like it again, thank you for being my best buddy for all those years Dino...   :'(

68 R/T LL1

Tilar

Sort of a long story...

Back in 99, My son got me into playing a MMORPG game called Everquest. I started a character and wanted to name him Tyler, which is the town we lived in since 1978. I tried many variations of Tyler... Tylar, Tiler, and finally Tilar which was not already taken. I always pronounced the name Tyler even though most probably pronounce it like Tiller or Tillaar.   Well, as time went on, Most message boards or online communities that I joined already had "Tyler" taken, including DodgeCharger.com... There was already a Tyler here with 3 whole posts that hasn't been on since April 2008, so here I am, Tilar... again.

A woman scanned the guests at a party and spotted an attractive man, standing alone.

She approached him. "My name is Carmen," she told him.
"That's a beautiful name," he replied, "Is it a family name?"

"No," she replied. "I gave it to myself. It reflects the things I like most--cars and men."

"What's your name?" she asked.

"Bob Titsenbeer"

redmist

Mine is an on-line gamers tag I have been using since the mid-late 90's "redmist" lower case often sporting a TZLV clan tag.

I was ranked 3rd in the entire nation on the CLQ playing Chaos Quake under the name [PIS]redmist during tournaments and such. now I go by Tactical_ted and don't play in the league any longer. I still use the name for this kind of stuff though.
JUNKTRAVELER: all I've seen in this thread is a bunch of bullies and 3 guys that actually give a crap.

Patronus is latin for protector. My real name is William, which broken down from the Anglo-Norman tongue means the will or desire to protect the realm. Pretty sure that's me.
