A new strain of super stupid

That is what eggs me, Steve.  People that can walk or should walk are riding these electric carts.  Every so often, I see an older person riding a cart, but most times, it's some overweight person using one so they don't have to walk. 

I had a couple ladies show up at work looking to charge up thier chairs.  I handed one of them the end while I plugged in the other.  I was surprised, she jumped up out of her chair, plugged it in, and then sat back down.  After it was charged up, they drove off.

Too many people taking advantage of the system.

Speaking of pet peeves, what about the picks at the petrol stations that take there sweet time even though they see you're sitting there with the motor running waiting for them to move so that you can get to the pump.
Common courtesy just doesn't exist anymore. What a bunch of Neanderthals we've turned into.

That bugs me as well.  More and more people are self centered and live in their own little world.  What I found out today is, part of the deal is people aren't as observant as they used to be.  I had one dirty bay at the car wash.  I went and got the remote, and headed toward that one bay, some guy starts to pull into that one bay.  I just threw up my arms in disgust.  He seen me, stopped, looked, then backs up, and pulls into another bay.  He said he didn't see how dirty it was. I gave him a few quarters as a thanks.  This was an older guy with no techy devises.  I just wish more would see the trash they leave in the parking lot

At least he did the right thing once he read your signals. It could have gone the other way especially if it was a younger person.....he could have become contentious or even abusive. They're quick to take offense.

That may have been years ago, but now it is paperwork that they have to fill out..

I have explained this to many, so one more time won't hurt. For me, I park in the handicapped spaces so that I can do my shopping.If it normally takes me 40 minutes to do my shopping I 1) Have to feel well enough to think I can walk and bend and lift and not kill people that want to stop in the middle of an isle to talk to someone. 2) I have to be able to walk in. Push a cart all over the store and load the cart. Unload the cart onto the conveyor and load the bags back into the cart. Then unload to my truck and unload my truck into my house. 3) To get from the closest place at my house into the kitchen it is 40-50 steps. So I also have to go back and forth with the groceries. Then be capable of putting them away once home...

Someone with a good back parks anywhere and walks into the store as if they have no plan. Nothing better to do. No time or strength restraints.. You can skip with your cart and bend easily to get the stuff you need that is ALLLLLLLWAYS on the BOTTOM SHELF and put it in and out of your cart over and over. Your vehicle too and when you get home you can also carry many more bags in at one time than I can....  Are you getting the picture now?? It doesn't hurt you to bend or push the cart. Or load/unload or carry it all in...

I have had to leave a cart full of food once. I had a worker follow me around once to show them how HANDICAP UN-FRIENDLY the store was. Over and over he was bending to the bottom shelf rather than all the typical use being in the middle.. This is done to make you see other things while hunting for that damned thing on the cert top or very bottom shelf.. Folgers Classic Blent for instance.. They sell some other Folgers crap that never leaves the shelves, but they want you to see it and try it.. They know if you do you will be back tomorrow for your classic blend anyway, so they screw you into trying the shit on the middle easy shelf..
I have taken my handicapped wife shopping and both grab carts and split the list to make it easier during the rainy season when the low pressure really kills me!!

If you are one of the lucky people in this country that DOES NOT NEED a handicapped placard you should be very happy you don't and be nice to those who do.. We are not a bunch of azzholes that have won the lottery.. Far from it.. We are the poor bassards that cannot do at least 50% of what you can!!! And what we still can do takes one hell of a lot of work on our part.. Not to mention how much additional time....

Now stop busting our chops and give someone handicapped a hand..

i sure wouldn't want to be someone who needs it, the wife says i bitch enough and i'm fully functioning.................. well, sometimes..................
