Hi everyone, hope you're doing well.

Not so much time these two past month. But the Charger remounting is in progress anyway.
But my recent surgery of one eye didn't helped.

So what happened ?
Troubleshooting on the wiring, some grounds re-done, some wires missing.
And reassembly of lot of little things such as exhaust, some chrome trim, licence plates, interior pads, tuning of the windows...

The last big thing was upholstery :
Here comes what I did on the front seats, according to :
- Legendary Auto Interiors mounting procedures
- Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fh3ixg9-YbE
- Some minutes of reflexion  :scratchchin:

1 - Fresh seat structure

2 - Protections of the foam

3 - Then comes the foams assembly (not told on the video :p )

Start by doing some cutting.

I used neoprene aerosol.

Then sticking of the high density foam on the seat cushion. (specific to Charger)

Tracking the midline to pass trough the center of the cover to ensure a good tension.

Installing the foam on the structure.

And here comes the seat ready to install the cover. I used a electrical meat knife to fit the high density foam.

Last checking, if all is straight.

I put some adhesive to prevent the wear of the cover against the structure corners.

And finished.

I will make another post for the back of the seat because I had to re-do the operation.
The final rendering was wavy, and I'm out of staples for the moment !

What do you think about it ?

I think that would hold moisture.

Thanks guys !

It almost finished !

There is some news :
My Charger had the right to go at the body workshop again :

Decklid and the area at the bottom of the rear window showed some defects :
Rust was emerging from under the paint, making little blisters ! Crazy, all the sheetmetal is new !

So I took the opportunity to make some more orange and re paint some parts like trunk corners, reflective markers brackets on the side...

Cooling and heating panel is brand new :

And now I'm installing the splash shields under my front fenders :
I have the ones which come to protect the doors, the corner shaped for the headlight. My father helped me in cutting it into new rubber sheets, taking as a model the old ones.
On my side I sanded and repainted the metallic parts.

But I'm wondering how looks the one which come there : is it only a rubber part or there is a sheet metal here too ?

I'm sorry to give so little news.

See you in 2 weeks, I'm going now to the Isle Of Man Tourist Trophy !  :nana:
