Like the topic states, I got tired of the Six-Pack hood look, so I'm going to make a new fiberglass hood, this is the Scoop I plan to use.. Its a scoop ment for a ProMod car... It should suck in fresh air to the carbs quite nicely.. Problem is that visibility will be a small problem...

So what do you think :stirthepot:

:shruggy: not my cup of tea but do whatever you like it's your car. It would probably be the last type of scoop I would use on a car, but that's just my 2 cents.

tom, that looks kinda nose heavy if you know what i mean.  without wheel tubs and a low pro/mod stance, those hood scoops just dont provide the balance the car needs.

I would go with something smaller personally, like what is attached.

Can't you find one any bigger and obnoxious? If not I'd settle on that little thing. :icon_smile_dead:

I think the stirring the pot gif is a key that it's a gag.

Put an iron lung on that bad boy and finish off the F&F look.  Love the movie or hate it, that was one beautiful Charger...and so is yours!

lmao... -Dont worry guys, there is no way in hell id stick a scoop like that on my ride... it does look kinda radical, but the car would look like a Rhinosaurus..

Wakko** got it, I just posted and added the pic to :stirthepot: a little.. The ProMod scoop belongs to my friend, his buddy made two of them, the otherone is on his racecar (Sorry, no pics of it, but it looks good even with that big ass scoop) That scoop is 4 sale, I just had to check what it would look like on my ride.. but it does look horrible.. so the Six-Pack hood stays....

I think that's one of the largest scoops I've ever seen for a race car. :o What kind of car does your buddy have?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

The scoop is actualy ment to be cut in the "rear" end, so it´s like placed/angled against the windsheild of the car. Its just made that long, that way you can custom fit it exactly where you want it to be ontop of the hood..

Ps. Sorry about your Keyboard Ron

Isn't that an intake for a B52 bomber engine?  There won't be any need for a windshield with that big honking thing sticking up. Are you planning to drive using braile with your arms out the window to read the street signs? :icon_smile_big:
