Go with a gravel driveway and a green roof (where you grow plants on your roof)  There are ways around this to an extent.  It works unless you're like the one that posted said they were forced to pave their driveway.

BFD, we've had that here for awhile- rainwater runoff tax  ( what rain?) I'm in the Texas Panhandle and you have to go to WallyWorld. to buy rain. Comes in plastic bottles.

Troy

I get charged for water runoff on my garage here in Ohio. I think Bull mentioned a while back that they could be fined/taxed for collecting rain water in Portland. It's nothing new - in certain areas. Other parts of the country just have to look around to find new ways to add taxes.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

We not only pay it here in Florida, but they tell us how much roof or concrete we CAN put on our land.. If this were NOT the case here we would need many more desalination plants..

Why not just delete his post instead of locking it?  Or, does one bad apple spoil the barrel?

I would think by now everyone with more than 20 posts or so would know the rules set by Troy. RELIGION and POLITICS and anything on their roads are NOT WANTED on here. Never have been and I highly doubt ever will be....

Some posts get locked and naturally fall away. We completely remove others. Both are at our discretion.

We hope to be able to allow everyone here to use their own discretion and be adult enough to NOT break the rules. As you see that does not always happen and we are called on to step in.

It sure would be nice to be able to just sit back and read and help people without this stuff!!!
