Hey guys , its been a while.  A buddy of mine is parting out a 74 charger that has decent buckets and rear seats. My 72 has buckets that dont match, and neither matches the rear. I want to buy the buckets and the rear seat, but im not 100% sure the rear will fit the 72. Im also thinking about buying the door panels as mine are also pretty rough. Im pretty sure the door panels will work, but im pretty sure the rear side panels dont interchange. I can deal with that mine are still ok. so is the rear seat the same , or close enough for a driver?

72 to 74 seats are pretty much the same... only change made was the vinyl pattern on 74s, but design is the same

door panels... uppers won't interchange

plastic panels... everything but rears as you noticed, specially because the seatbelts. Arm rest are padded on rear too on 72s. HOWEVER you can cut the 72 panel for the 74 shoulder retractor belt cover and will be fine

what's different on upper door panels?

74 seats were the same as 73 in my neck of the woods.

71/72 doors are higher so do the upper panels... quarter opening is diff so the upper panel too.

from the distance yes, and virtually they are, but vinyl pattern changes in 74... I think being Coachman on outside sections, and some other on 72/73s
