Sure-grip noise when turning

Good day

I have "groan" coming from the rearend when car has been driven for about 15-20 minutes and only happens when turning. Tighter the turn more pronounced the "groan"...If I go straight it's fine. To me it's obvious it's the sure-grip clutches...but why? any suggestions appreciated

- Clutch style Sure-grip 3:23
- Axle bearings good
- Wheels tight
- Axle "end-play" set properly
- Used 75W multipurpose lube that said was approved for posi and limited slip differentials
- Had this unit in my other car and it groaned on occasion in that car too but not nearly as pronounced
- installed unit/replaced lube about 2 months ago

did you put the friction modifier for the posi in or just the gear oil? i had to use 2 bottles of additive on mine call an auto parts store and see if they have any, sorry can't remember the name but it said it prevents posi noise and chatter.

I didn't think you had to do that anymore but that sure sounds like the cause

you can buy  proper lsd back axle oil from castrol, it is with stands high pressure , so when you make a tight turn the oil the between  lsd clutch plates is not broken down.  witch causes the plates   to rub together ,you can also put a (  friction modifier additive ) like
