I just LOVE these kind of stories.  Great to see it out in public.  Sometimes I take mine to work on a Saturday.  It drives the manager nuts as i drive and am away from the store a lot and he gets to field the questions.  Needless to say over the past couple of years he has become very knowledgeable about the Superbirds and Daytona.  Thanks goodness the weather is getting better and I feel the itch for a drive coming on.

Large cojones for parking there!

Not only that, but for parking nose OUT !  :icon_smile_big:

If and when I attempt such a feat, I will probably park nose in, as I figure the likelihood of severe damage to the nose will be less if I park nose-in ( that's my theory anyway,  ) .

I can see someone driving along the lane or backing up and not looking and BAM ! Crunched nose :brickwall:

I thought Buddy Baker's Dodge Daytona was the first car to go over 200 mph on a closed circuit course?!

Yes, your obviously correct, but we are talking about a News Paper writer in New Zealand writing a piece on a Superbird. He would have googled the information and we all know how accurate that would have been for him.
Every article I have ever had about my cars, especially the Boss 429 were full of errors and miss-quotes.
