I guess this is one of those you won't know what the top speed is, but it's definitely gonna be a show stopper. :2thumbs:

ws23rt

It has a top speed. I will not try to find it. On paper 6000 rpm is 220. It's not a dragster either. It is a cruiser. 1800 rpm in third gear is about 80mph.

That little radiator is going to be working pretty hard.  My little 600cc R6 had a radiator 4 times the size of that.

Ok, good.  Otherwise that engine wouldn't have lasted long.

I saw that in person a few years ago at a swap meet/car show in portland. It had traction bars on it. Not sure what it could do at the drags but looks like fun.

I am still trying different things to get pics from my old camera to posting in an easier way. (don't try this as home)

In that regard I do feel somewhat ashamed. It is not very green. Maybe a Prius badge would help. :scratchchin: However fuel economy is related to how much work is being done. This won't be working very hard.
If someone would help me collect cow farts I'm willing to run it on that. :2thumbs:

There was one posted a few years ago with the Hemi mounted transversely. It wasn't a trailer queen by the look of it.

I would like to see any pics of stuff like this. I saw a pic of a small block chevy transversely mounted back in the 60s
The drive is much easier to make work that way but it just looks wrong. I still don't know how the boss hoss drive works but I am mopar and this is a dodge.

Impressive. Nuts, but impressive. Great fabrication skills, how long has it been in the build and what possessed you to do it, was there other big bikes/rods in the past? Or just a do it to blow your hair back kinda thing

Now now nuts sounds derogatory. :rotz: In light of a recent thread we need to use care. In early 70s a good friend and I made a pact to make a hemi bike. The first idea was a 392 hemi and when we got done drawing up a few sketches the thing would be 12-13 ft long. This not good not to mention we were early 20s poor and needed to learn more stuff.
I learned some more stuff and in 06 started to make this. A constant issue was keep it short as possible. My friend Bob always pushed to make this something that could be a business. I just wanted to make it work. I am still working nearly full time so this is a spare time hobby.

I was ready for that back in the day. But the tires would pop. I didn't know that.

The movie The worlds fastest Indian Is an old favorite.

No, not being derogatory, don't think  that for a minute. I guess I meant its outside the curve for a normal bike build .No malice intended.

W.F.I. is a cool movie, Every year in Invercargill where Burt was from they have a commemorative race day on the beach, called the Munro Classic, I believe, one of my mate rides his guzzi down for it. Big 4000km round trip

Sorry Bob I should have used  :smilielol:  or  :icon_smile_wink: but My humor is rather dry. I did not take offense.
You may not have read that thread to which I refer.

There is a great lesson in that movie. Follow the vision. It may hurt along the way. If you give up than why having even started.
