The Aussie Holden didn't even make it onto that list. I was getting bug eyed trying to find it.

That sucks that there are only 2 Chrysler products in the top 100 (42 Ram, 88 Cherokee)  It's pretty funny though that the Dodge Avenger ranks higher than the charger, the camaro, and the mustang

Wow!  Ford sold almost twice as many F-series as the Silverado.  Dodge Ram is a close 3rd also..

I don't get where some of these numbers come from. They list the PT Cruiser at 923 with 10.....They don't make those any more

Just because they are no longer made in the US, doesn't mean they aren't made elsewhere in the world.

Oh I see, Chrysler built 10 PT Cruisers in Guatemala since there was such a demand.....

Actually I think there is another more plausible answer. After I again looked at the article I realized it only states this is a list of the top 1000 selling cars for 2012. Possibly there was some existing inventory of PT Cruisers from the last build year that only now were sold and therefore appear in this list.

Also, does that count only everything under 1 tons?  F-series (I think) still goes up into the 1-ton plus category (used to have F450 etc) but does Chevy stop calling it a Silverado after the 1-ton market?    I'm not as up on this stuff as I used to be.    I <3 my F150 even though it's been a piece of crap at times but fair is fair.

Either way, even if Ma Mopar can't pull out any showings at the top, good to see the other two American companies getting 40% of the top 10.
