I'm changing my rubber fuel lines.

I Believe that I have experienced vapor lock After my first highway run with my charger. She would not start until I Let her cool down. I have been through all the sticky threads And other threads about this subject. My charger already has a half-inch spacer That was there when I purchased it. I am going to replace the fuel lines As well as reroute them Away from all heat sources in the engine compartment. I was considering going with the Ptfe (teflon) fuel lines But I don't want to deal with the special connectors that they use.

I read about other improved Fuel lines.... J30-r12 and J30-r12. Does anyone know where I can purchase these few lines?

I was also considering using Some form of insulation to completely wrap the fuel lines with.  Any thoughts on that ?

It's a 71 charger 383. Fuel line from  edlebrock 1406 carb to the fuel pump size - 11/32 . From the pump is a small section of hose , the fuel filter , another section of hose and than the steel line to the tank. 

I believe a totally seperate line from the passenger side valve cover going out back, is a vent line.
Mopars are like the Hot Wheel/Matchbox cars from when I was a kid ...  Bad A@@ and Cool!!!

99 percent of all older cars do not have or need a return fuel line..That is more of a Fuel Injection necessity.
