Yeah, dime a dozen Ive seen them as cheap as $200.00 for the complete front suspension. makes a nice clean, lightweight install with all the geometry already figured out for you.

wow, thats what i paid for the mustang cross member alone

Down here in N.C. I see nice running Crown Vics going for 2 to 3 thousand dollars. Since it is a full frame car there are quite a few guys who are using them for truck projects. Taking the Crown Vic chassis and putting an early 50's truck body on top. If it wouldn't have been a complete Mopar betrayal that would have been the platform of choice for my project. Cars are pretty much bullet proof and nobody seems to want them.

Must II set ups are getting harder to find, therefore, price goes up.

Well, wish i know about it before :scratchchin:

Anyway, fiinished my trans crossmember and bolted it in,

test fit a corvette brake booster and master cylinder for no reason, its kinda bulky, and i like manual brakes better anyway  :shruggy:

Engine and trans are in, which is kinda kickass

never made custom mounts before... And never installed and engine before either

Cooter

Did you check engine/trans angle? I know now is a good time rather than after running and vibrati ok ns are kicking your ass. Did you set engine back? Looks like it. Looks good. Kid's got skills.

its at 3 degrees tilted towards the back i used a protractor style angle finder on the engine lift plate  :scratchchin:

vibrations? is that why you tilt it back? noone ever told me why you tilt an engine back, they just say "make sure you do it, or else"

Cooter

Driveline angles play a key role in how the U-Joints rotate, as well as how well balanced the drive shaft is at speed.

Kinda like when you lower a RWD car and pick up all kinds of resonating vibrations. So, yes it's Ness.

Well Baldwin, it looks like a Charger, I will give you that!  :2thumbs: You are going to keep it flat black right?  :scratchchin: I read one time you think Baby Bunnies Look Bad Ass Flat Black!  :D

Flat paint will hide a lot! Now a Flat Black Straight Charger would be real cool!  :coolgleamA:

When you are ready to dive into the body work and you would like a little help PM me and we can talk on the phone! I know I have yanked your chain a little but I still admire your effort and goal!

If I can make my junk look straight, yours can as well.
