At this point, I'm picturing your finished car as a combination of the General Lee, the 'Deathproof' Charger, and the cars from Mad Max and DeathRace!
Can't wait to see how it turns out!

As I've said before, this thread inspires me!

Yup looks like it'll be a combination of a bunch of movies, tv shows and video games i've loved over the years, the thing is, im so far off from my original plan, im starting to wonder if i ever had a plan in the first place  :smilielol:

Thankyou and yes i do, but i have a choice, buy a camera... or buy a rusty 45 year old piece of junk for the charger  :rotz: ... theres simply no room in the budget for such luxury

JB400

Your car looks pretty good.  You might need to invest in a few grinder wheels, but other than that looks good :2thumbs:  I think the spray can responses on the sides of the car make a bigger statement than the car itself.  I'd remove those or get some black primer and finish painting it.  Afterwards, I don't think you'd get in much trouble.  I've been known to be wrong though. :popcrn:

Baldwinvette77

well if i must  :rotz: ... and i think i'm covered on grinding discs  :coolgleamA: :coolgleamA:

I hope the rear window will go in.  It's concave.  In other words, it's not flat and curves into the interior.
It bows out - not in.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Obviously, the ones I've seen were put in backwards. :brickwall:

By whom?  :scratchchin: where does this person live? and what are his greatest fears?  :scratchchin:

Baldwinvette77

The dash gets slightly less vomit inducing each day.. slightly... very slightly  :popcrn: i made some stainless steel pieces for the bottom the one one the left will house stock light switches and maybe the washer switches too, also WELDED (i want to be very clear with this) WELDED gate hinges to the glove box door  :nana:

who knows a few more days and maybe the dash will look half decent

Old Tired Rebel

I like what you are doing with the dash.

i might paint the base of the dash with truck bed liner to give it a bit of a vynil look, ill clean up and dye the glove box door, likely get a better dash pad, paint the hinges and of course leave the stainless pieces as is, might make another stainless piece for wherever the radio might go  :scratchchin:
