I really don't know anything about suspension geometry, but have you checked into this?? Is there a fixed "NORM" you set the are height to?? Should the arms be parallel to each other when the spindle is mounted??

I may have missed it if any of this has been addressed, but I don't recall. Then again, I can't remember if I have eaten anything today!!  :-\

Yes there is a fixed point where i set the arm height to, i never addresed it, but i simply placed the spindle where i felt it would look good in the wheel well, them i placed the arms where they needed to be based on that,

and yes the arms should be parallel to each other during suspension travel, and they need to be level at ride height, i simply put the lower arms and spindles where they neded to be, then that determined where the upper arm needed to be,

i believe i said before that i slightly cut down the hats (upper arm mounts) but waited until i got my control arms in before i finalized it, if you look carefully at the blurry pixalated pictures you may see that i cut them down by about 2" so that it would make the upper arm parallel to the lower arm, i did i ton of research and asked around, spoke to various people from master machanics to hotrodders before and after i started

ohyeah also i mounted everything up, too bad my camera is such a pos, i need to borrow someone else's  :rotz:

Are you planning on flush mounting the grill like on the 500 or are you going to leave it recessed?

At a stand still. I am waiting to get to the doctor office for another shot in my back and buy another welder.

i know still thinking about it, would be a shame to cut up my deck filler after fixing it.... but then again cutting things to pieces heals all wounds  :hack: ... just need to find a vega hatch  :scratchchin:

http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,103848.0.html Not sure but I think this guy is up around you. And you would have had to fix around the stock rear window anyway for structure sake alone.

Just because you put a Coronet grill in it doesn't mean you have to put a flush window in it.  Dare to be different? :nana:

God im so indecisive  :rotz: , im going to have to get another 2nd gen just so i can do the opposite of everything i do to this one

By the way you guys do realize i went through the trouble of stabbing a mustang 2 in this car just be because steve.p wasn't a fan of stock k-members, otherwise i probably would have just modified a stock one.

next, someone will convince me to build a daytona clone, God damn you "power of suggestion"  :rotz:

djcarguy

Put a 2 foot wing on the vet tail  an make the charger a 2 seater with removable roadster top...  lets see what other ideas i can suggest..   have a great sunday thinking these over,ha ha. :popcrn: :popcrn:  :2thumbs: :slap: :D :D :2thumbs:   :shruggy: :D :D

If you did everything that we told you, you'd end up with a car that has a wing, 68 grill, a 69 and a 70 taillight, a dixie horn, painted half orange, half black, with an 01 on one door, a DMCL stripe on the other side, a bumblebee stripe, hood stripes of which one would have your engine displacement, one Vector wheel, one torq thrust wheel, one Magnum 500 wheel, and a Ansen slot wheel.

Build what you like and go with the flow.  :2thumbs: :popcrn:

I can see how this is gonna end for me  :rotz:

Hell, just dump a Torino tail light in it  anf Cobra snake emblems on it for the whole effect. Maybe some SS emblems for good measure.

:scratchchin: ... taillights arent a bad idea, no emblems though for budget purposes

Old Tired Rebel

Have you ever thought of putting a modern Charger taillights in your car?
