Pretty much, i stopped so i can focus on college, then finding a job, now theres snow on my workspace, so i plan to finish it and go for a test drive once it gets warmer  :drool5: .. and by test drive i mean slowly idle up and down my street to see if it falls apart  :yesnod:

Love it!  I'd say as long as you've got functional brakes, and maybe an e-brake; you should be able to at least take 40-60 :)

:2thumbs: Sounds good! Be sure to post videos.

I hope to be doing the same with my Charger this summer.

So, its been sitting in the garage for almost a year, covered in trash waiting for me to get my ass back to it. i've been busy trying to find a secure job, i've been laid off twice, but my current job looks ok, i hope! i sold my 77 Baldwin motion style corvette to get some money for the charger, but it got eaten pretty quickly by other expenses.

i got a part time job driving a snow plow, but it only snowed here 4 times since i was signed up , but it was enough spare cash to finish up a few things while its still freezing outside!

i Decided to finish up the trunk area a bit since it was the first part of the car i addressed back in 2013, but somehow also the most neglected.

i bought some trunk gutter patches from Rock auto since they had them for less than 60$ canadiana a side, which was an epic price compared to other places ive seen, and its strangely the only new charger specific parts ive ever bought for this thing.. its an odd feeling...

i also welded up the trunk pin holes since. 1. i didnt want to drill into new parts  2. it was kinda annoying to have to both pull pins and turn a lock. and 3 i was bored....

i also raised the fuel cell 3 inches with the help of some square tubing, i added a round bar to the rear roll cage section because i kept tripping over it on my garage floor... and for some reason i used seam sealer in the trunk even though theres a giant hole cut in it... i honestly have no idea why i bothered now that im thinking about it...  :rotz:

and last but not least (probably) i found a T/A scoop for 75$ and pop riveted it to the hood, and it makes me very happy  :drool5:

Also its cold as hell and i want it to be spring already....  :brickwall:

lukedukem

That is a badass hood scoop.

Not exactly new, but i just found 50 year old 67 belvedere interior panels, and since it snowed yesterday, i actually had the money to buy them!

so this is what its like to have upholstery in a charger...  :scratchchin:

Just sitting in the barn for now, got plans to put in a new cam and single plane intake at some point though.  :icon_smile_big:

Baldwinvette77

Awesome, when you bring it back out, claim it was a barn find, it will suddenly become 100x more valuable and socially acceptable  :2thumbs:

So, back when i did the front suspension the lower mustang balljoints went through the lower corvette spindle taper a little too much, i didnt realize this was a problem at the time but later realized i could use a ball joint spacer to help with the issue.

what i found out was a upper ball joint spacer for a chevy tahoe will adapt a lower mustang ball joint to vette spindle, which i feel is very useful information on a dodge charger forum

no real pictures of them installed.. they are unnoticeable and well. my hands were kinda full anyway

This side sucked... hard  :eek2:

Now i think the car sits a little higher.. i mean the tires are all low on air.. but its noticeable  :scratchchin:

Anyway!! a couple parts down, a few several dozen more to go!  :woohoo:
