The better question is, "was she talking about me or the car?"  :coolgleamA: .....

I just bought some more shiney objects for the car including a headlight/grille frame, blue 68 steering column, an A/T brake pedal and bracket chrome trim for the roof and 1/4 glass, the 1/4 regulators and glass the rear screen, fuel door and front bumper brakets. I also got a front valance for free  :smash:

Looks like you scored a lot of pieces for your build. It's gonna be a beautiful car and a great time following your build.  Congrats.

Just looked at your thread for the first time today & have to give you a thumbs up for diving into a project like that. I know I'd have passed on it.  :2thumbs:

Looks like you're making good progress, hopefully by keeping it inside nobody will complain & you can get a lot more done. Though I haven't seen anyone attack your build, don't worry about any negative comments you might get from some knuckledragger on the board. I like seeing people do what they can within their budget, whether it's building a custom from scratch, or an all out, date coded car.

Good luck.

Thank ye kindly  it's probably the most fun build i've ever done or been a part of, theres simply no rules, just a little common sense, and i have to say, hunting across canada for used parts is a hell of a lot more fun than calling up AMD  :icon_smile_big:

Mark is a car dealership mechanic and not mopar either

I had first met him 20 years ago looking for Charger parts and at that time he had a real blue 69 Daytona in his garage ( he had to take the nose cone off to get the garage door shut )
The Daytona is long gone now

I think you are thinking about the guy named Robert (OR Bob ) Prior
He now lives out around Lindsay

(He followed me for 1/2 hour one day when I was bring home a 70 Charger parts car and he finally honked to get me to stop as he wanted to buy the bucket seats out of the car)
