powder coating a K frame

I had mine sandblasted first.  Then I welded on strengthening plates and washers and had some of the factory welds touched up.  Then I cleaned the whole thing and took it down to my friendly poweder coating place and had them powder coat the whole thing.  Came out real nice.

Did mine too.  I added the oil pan skid plate and had it powder coated.  Looks great.

I just got mine back from the powdercoater. Welded firmfeel gussets and had the whole thing powdercoated chassis black. Looks sweet. Batteries are dead in the camera or I'd post a pic or 2.

Yep did both of mine . . . Had a cousin that did it as a side job so all it cost was a 6 pack of beer each time.  Too bad my side of the family divorced him. . .
