OK the home is vacant . . . why?  Are they in foreclosure? If so, the bank may have had it towed.  I sell foreclosures for banks for a living and if I found a home vacant with nothing but a junk car there (I don't think it is junk but they would) they would have it towed.  May be the case here . . . .  :shruggy:

They just recently sold the house and moved a few minutes away. The new owner is going to develop the land eventually but told him he could keep the car amd a bunch of other stuff there. All the other stuff including another car and a camper were not touched. House wasn't in foreclosure.

That car looks toast.  Even the engine looks like everything has rusted together to become one giant blob. I doubt that car rolled out of there.  Look for drag marks and follow it.

Parted out & cut up would be my guess.

The car sat there growing roots for how long, and then suddenly got ripped right after the house changed hands?  I wonder if that played a role in it.

Someone may have spotted the car when they came to see the house for one reason or another.  Maybe a potential buyer.  Or someone connected with the stuff that was taken out of the house/property (like a mover), etc.

you guys are forgetting the lucrative overseas market ,even a rough "builder"will get snapped up. check the usual, eBay etc or do you have any shipping agents in you city check them. I've seen lots worse cars  arrive here in oz

That is an early car Cody. Look at the review mirror, the steering wheel, the slide done ash tray. It also has some great options.
Power windows are hard to find, and there almost impossible to buy parts for these days, with all wiring switch's included. Also
has the rear defrost and speaker package, funny thing is, no antenna hole   :shruggy:  interesting , General Lee mod  :shruggy:

Thought I would take the time to post saying I have confirmed that the stolen '68 Charger has been recovered safe and sound by Vancouver Police Dept. I got a call Sunday afternoon from the guy I bought my Charger off of saying he thought he found the car. He said his buddy called him saying he found a Charger sitting in a backyard in Vancouver so he went to check it out and recognized it from pictures I sent him a few weeks back. He gave me the address to where it was so I drove past the location and I confirmed it was indeed the car. The idiots had it in their backyard along the alley right by a busy street with no cover on it and the licence plates still on it! I called the owner and he called VPD right away. Sunday night they came and got it. This shows the power of the car community!!!

Good news :2thumbs: Glad it got recovered.  Any chance that you'll try to buy it now, or do you think you have enough projects?
