Superbird wheels

I would like to decode the wheels on my 'Bird.
I have the original broadcast sheet.
It shows;
                  Wheels                         wheel cover
Road            color           spare
71                ?X9            28               43

I have put a question mark as the sheet is in poor condition and hard to read.

Could anybody please advise.

You sure your wheels aren't "21?"  That would be rallye wheels.

Your missing letter is a "T", as in "TX9" for black.  It means don't paint the spare.

dont paint the spare "body" color...paint it black.

Im certain the number listed under road is 71, not 21.
I 'm sure you are right about the 'T'.

There should also be tire codes up there  (Like Uxx) and more wheel codes towards the bottom of the sheet.

The 43 is the trim ring.

Top of my broadcast sheet is attached.  Shows the same except for a 22 in the wheel cover section. 

Looks like a 1 in the Wheels section at the bottom.

Sorry--I thought you were talking about the wheel style at the bottom of the page.

Yes, 70EK2bird, your listing under road is 71, same as mine. What does that mean?
There is also a 1 in the wheels section at the bottom as well.

Pretty sure under the W section there is a number 2  and then the printed 1 in the box meaning W21 = 14"chrome sty road wheels
