Charger 69 440 magnum original converter

HI!

I have a totally stock 440 magnum charger 69 with a 727 transmission
But i wonder what the size and stall speed was on the torque converter on this car?
Any part number mabey?

Prior to '75 all 440's used the 11 3/4" converter, factory-rated stall speed is 2000-2300. P/N for the '69 converter is 2801359.

I have everything original inside the enine , forged crank etc, so i guess this converter dont have any weights?
In my book i have it says 10,75", but mabey they are called 11"

No converter weights for the 440 until '70. The 440 never got the 10 3/4" (some call it 11") converter until '75 but the 383 used it before that. Nice upgrade for the earlier 440.

Ok, my original flexplate are 11" center - center to center holes.
In my book i says it had 10 3/4" converter, wouldnt this be correct?

No, the flexplate with the 11" bolt centers is for the 11 3/4" (12") converter which is correct for a '69. The flexplate for the 10 3/4" (11") converter has 10" bolt centers.

What John said and I totally agree the 383 convertor is a nice addition to a stock 440.
