Snow level dropped today almost to the house on the back of Mt. Spokane.  I want Al Gore to spend time in jail
.

I just want him to have to live like he preaches. No mansions, private jets, limmos......and he has to drive himself in a Prius.
He wants you to suffer so he can live like a king.

Exactly why it would be so satisfying for him to be stuck in a Prius.
Yugo would be more better

True...but not by much.

Another inch of snow means I don't have to mow the lawn! I'll start a new rant in August when I have to drive to work with the head lights on, because of the thick forest fire smoke.

HeavyFuel

Snowed in today....until the plows get around.

Set a snowfall one day record yesterday....about 16 inches.  Was deeper than that most places I was snowblowing.  More like 20" with drifts around 40"

Good ole groundhog Phil...my first day of Spring in Upper Michigan awoke to "Winter Storm Warning in effect". We ended up with 5-9 inches of snow(no way to be sure as a "brisk" 30mph wind blew it all over the place). Turned my normal 8 hour day in the truck into a 12 hour ordeal that ended with the truck buried in my yard and a couple more hours in the tractor digging it out and clearing a parking spot for it so I could start fresh at 4:30 this morning. I'm not and never have been sure why "they" refer to the area where I live as God's Country  Last years early break up is nothing more than a good memory and I'm pretty sure this year the Charger's will not be on the road until May(hopefully).

i'm originally from the U.P.,ya but, where you from?

ODZKing

Winter just does NOT want to let go here.  This is coming out of the hockey game tonight.
34 degrees (that's 1c) and snowing.  That's the bad news.
Good news is The Syracuse Crunch clinched the East Division title tonight.

Go Crunch  :2thumbs:

Snowing like crazy.....April frickin' 24th.

Flakes are clumped together....about the size a quarter.....ground turned white again in about 15 minutes.

Wow...I just tried to run some glaze and it's too hot!  :eek2: I gotta go back to run mud early morning and nothing but blocking after 11AM. They say it's 82* but it feels like 92*!

In Seattle, there isn't much of a Spring.  Fall, Winter, and Spring are all the same.  I can't really tell the difference between Oct. and March.  May is sometimes nice which tricks you - because June is usually wet and miserable.  So Summer doesn't get going until after July 4th and even then, there's a chance the nice days will only be during the week.  You cannot make plans and expect it to be clear.  Some weird front could move in from the Puget Sound at any time.  I hate it.

Snowed last night in my neck of the woods as well.... :rotz:...thinking this year, we have winter, then fall!

JB400

People complaining of snow and they live in C A N A D A.  Isn't that what it is supposed to be doing up there?  Sounds kinda like the people in Seattle complaining of rain, the people in Chicago complaining of wind, and the people in Florida complaining of sunshine.  You need to move to Missouri.  You can experience all 4 seasons in a week. :2thumbs:

Fred

In a week? Here in Victoria, you can experience all 4 seasons in a day!  And that's no lie. Our motto is.........if you don't like the weather, wait 5 mins.

There are days that it does seem like that here as well, but a week is more common.

I cant believe some of the blizzard photos. We've gone onto daylight saving time now where the clocks get wound back an hour - any of you still do that?

The daytime temperature is dropping and the autumn is definetely here with cold and frequent showers, so I'm afraid that's it for the car cruising season, damn, but it sure has been good
Got up at 04.30 for Dawn parade, that was a bit cold  :icon_smile_big:

I believe we managed 11* for our dawn parade this year which is well up on the usual wet and cold weather of years past.
We're experiencing our best Autumn in at least 5 years. The weather's glorious. Warm sunny days, cool nights perfect for sleeping. Summer was terrific too so all in all it should be an easy winter to get through (unlike last year's where we had nearly six months of it because we more or less missed out on summer and had no Autumn to speak of).
No complaints.  Were running a little short on rain though but I think that's about to change next week.

Well another fine morning in Upper Michigan! I know we live in the north but this is getting ridiculous...for almost the entire month of April our daily high temperatures have been running about 10-20 degrees below normal. Usually by this time of year you can expect daily highs near 60...we have been struggling to get to 40-45 most days with the odd mid 30's thrown in. A couple photos taken out of the truck this morning on M-123 north of Moran, MI. First on my southbound trip about 5:30 and the second while I was northbound at about 7:30. If you are somewhere to warm maybe this will cool you down, or if you live in my neck of the woods just another reason to want to retire to a warmer environment lol.
