After all this time, we're still using both metric and imperial over here. I don't think that will ever change. You can still go into hardware shops and ask for whatever in inches and feet even though it's all marked in mm. Our tape measures come with both.
But nobody uses fahrenheit anymore unless they have a very old stove.

1 km = 1000 m

1 mile = 1760 yards

1 mile = 1.6km

1 gallon (US) =3.79 l...therefore, (gas went down) I'm paying,...$5.30 per gallon!

<.....truck costs $140 for a full tank of gas!

1 lb = 0.45kg, therefore I weigh in at...104.3kg (230 lbs)....I still cant figure the weight thing out, and we've been metric since I was 10....I'm 49 now!!!

Another beautiful "spring" day in Northern Michigan....about as bad as it gets for driving this morning about 5AM. This is getting really annoying!

Hate to tell ya guys this, but we had the windows open all night and today! Gonna get windy again i think tonight or tomorrow.  The wind just messes with mine and my kids allergies! Our daughter has gotten three bloody noses this week from the dry air and wind earlier in the week. If anybody wants to send me a lil rain, id take it! Wash the dam dust and pollen away!
