69 charger rt, replacing entire harness and I'm at the point of putting fresh bulbs in the tail lights.

The "specs" section of the charger shop manual (8-96) specifies 1157's in all 3 sockets. (And that's what's in there)
Buuuuuut section 8-64 about turn signals clearly says the outer bulb should be a 1035 (in the graphic).

Whats correct?  Or, what are y'all running?

Just 6T9 CHGR

The two outermost (Stop & tail lamp) bulbs are 1157's.

The innermost bulb (tail lamp only) was originally a 1095 which are disco'd but this is a list of other bulbs that have the same base & burn pretty much the same brightness as the 1095

#67 MINIATURE BULB BA15S BASE - 13.5 Volt .59 Amp

#89 MINIATURE BULB BA15S BASE - 13.0 Volt .58 Amp

#97 MINIATURE BULB BA15S BASE - 13.5 Volt .69 Amp

#1095 MINIATURE BULB BA15S BASE  14 Volts .51 amp

I made up this handy bulb chart in the registry...

Chris' '69 Charger R/T

ODZKing

http://www.bulbtown.com has them.
They also can cross reference.

You can compare specific specs of "like" bulbs. Either way, something will work.

Thanks for the quick reply.  It's amazing the amount of knowledge that exists only on this forum, not sure what my son will do 25 years from now when he needs to re-restore this thing.  Hope someone can compile all of these posts into a DVD for posterity...I'd buy...

Sorry, in 25 years, the DVD you buy today will be obsolet and unreadable.  However your car will be worth 10 times as much but you won't be able to drive it for lack of gasoline!
