Suggestions

I just figured I'd make a seperate thread that people could post suggestions for the sites or any little bugs so Troy could find them easier. I know this thing is a large work in progress but I thought this could be one way I could help until I can donate some funds for a good domain name.

The only thing I've found wrong so far is that people's avatars are "too big" and have the slider bars on them.

BTW Troy, if there is anything I can do to help just let me know!

How about a list of things you liked from the old site?
Mine are;

1)The little amber folder on the threads I posted in.
2)Non restricted avatar sizes.
3)Non restricted picture sizes.
4)95% of the available smileys.
5)I know there's something else, I just can't remember.

I know that but it is nice to be here, look up and see that one of your friends is in the chat room and go see them.  I find it to be a pain to go through everywherechat.com and I end up never going.

Dang I just realized something. When I first joined up I had options to delete and lock threads... now I don't... Good thinking Troy! lol! Not saying I would abuse those options of course...

I liked having the location of the member under their name. Just my 2 cents. By the way, spell check is real nice!

Classified ads:
How hard would it be to have a few "fields" that the seller must fill in, in order to place the ad? Similar to when you register or sign up for something, & there are boxes that must be filled in or it comes back to tell you that you must fill in the required fields. Just 3 or 4 boxes at a minimum, like:
User Name - Member
E-Mail Address
Location - City & State

Actually, the one that was in place at D-C.com just before it went down worked very good.

Rolls of toilet paper that start easily for rush jobs.
Beeper in refrigerator when there is almost no beer left.

Anything that prevents massive left & right scrolling to see the entire photo

I can't do anything on the old site to point traffic here - it's basically turned off. There is a plan to notify everyone that I can but it takes time.

Working on an automatic "resizer" for pics but I have no idea if it works.
